THE STORY BEHIND LOCOMOTIVE SMOKE:
• The name Locomotive Smoke was inspired by the smoky plumes rising from locomotives as they traveled down the tracks. The charcoal and lighter gray tones of this yarn reminded me of that hazy, drifting smoke.

But this yarn was also created in honor of my dad, who loved trains. The name is a small tribute to him and a way to keep that memory connected to something I made by hand.

Each piece has its own natural color placement because the yarn was hand-dyed in small quantities.
