This one-of-a-kind Scrunchie was handmade from the final remaining portion of Rainbow Riot, an exceptionally colorful 100% wool thick-and-thin yarn.

The finished Scrunchie is wonderfully chunky and tactile, with little bursts of blue, green, yellow, pink, red, purple, orange, and other rainbow shades throughout.

The thick-and-thin construction gives it an almost textile-art appearance rather than the look of an ordinary yarn accessory. Every section has its own shape, thickness, and color combination.

THE YARN STORY:
Rainbow Riot was purchased at the 2026 WNY Fiber Arts Festival from Spinners Hill, based in Bainbridge, New York.

HANDMADE BY SIDESHOW KNITTING:

This is an individually handmade accessory created from an unusually textured artisan-style yarn. The chunky, irregular appearance is intentional and is part of the character of the finished piece.
